If you like pomegranates, you'll love this.
September sees me in insanely quaint Farnham and working with the Farnham Maltings on Kevin Dyer's new piece, The Iranian Feast.
As with most of my work, it's not your most traditional of shows, mainly because it offers a full meal as part of the experience. It's also touring village halls nation wide.
As the name suggests it's set in Iran, and thanks to the show I already know that chai means tea in farsi (so asking for a chai tea is asking for tea tea), why westerners are nuts for putting milk in our drinks and what pistachio and rose water brittle tastes like. And its only day one, we haven't even gotten onto the cooking.
All info is here should you be curious.
